Guido P. Gutter, M.D. brings his vast experience in Cosmetic Surgery to the Tri-State area. Dr. Gutter, a native of Switzerland, obtained his MD and PHD from the University of Zurich. While doing so, he had the chance to travel to many areas of the world to broaden his medical education.
Dr. Gutter pursued General Surgery Training at the University of Toledo, Ohio and Plastic Surgery Training at Duke University Medical Center each for five years. A Fellowship in Hand Surgery with Dr. Kleinert and Kutz in Louisville, Kentucky completed his training in Plastic Surgery.
Dr. Gutter refined his Cosmetic Surgery skills for two years as an Associate at the Bellevue Clinic in Zurich, Switzerland. He then returned to the USA, where for over 20 years, he was an Assistant Clinical Professor at Duke University training Plastic Surgery Residents. During the time he was a Professor, he also had a successful private office and served as Chief of Plastic Surgery at Durham Regional Hospital. Dr. Gutter is Board Certified in Plastic Surgery and a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.
Dr. Gutter joined the office of Evansville Plastic Surgical Associates, a leader in Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery in Evansville for over 35 years, in 2011.
Dr. Gutter is experienced in all facets of Aesthetic Surgery of the Face, Breast, and Body Contouring. Considerable time is also spent in Breast Reconstructive Surgery. His nonsurgical areas of expertise include physician administered minimally invasive procedures such as Botox, Skin Fillers, and Chemical Peels.
